1910 ½d bluish green group, major variety IMPERFORATE. Horizontal pair on piece cancelled ‘BULAWAYO 6 MAR 17’, vertical crease on left stamp (as are most). RARE. SG 120a / RJL 5 var.
Note: apparently positions 33/34. Together with two photostat copies
of notes written by Benson, ‘Sheet of 100 ½ Rhodesian Imperf. bought
at Umtali P.O. by me' (etc.) and ‘Pair of Half Rhodesian ½d Imperf.
Postally used cut from block of 4 original in my possession and given to
Mr. P S E Blauford in exchange for war issues’, dated ‘12.2.19’. |
