STAMPS & VARIETIES  -  1966 Independence overprints, SG 359-372
1966 £1 Harrison definitive, in a curious pale impression of the salmon-pink printing, normal for comparison. Superb unmounted. SG 387 and var.
Note: a contemporary typewritten note accompanies this item, from George C. Martin and signed by him, stating that this stamp was obtained at the Rhodesian Philatelic Bureau, who requested his opinion and subsequently allowed him to purchase the stamp. Apparently no further examples had come to light by 1967. However, bearing in mind the printing process and the effect harsh sunlight has on such stamps, must be viewed as a curiosity only.
