| 1908 KEVII £1 purple and black on red. BLOCK OF FOUR, positions [40-41, 52-53], the upper right stamp showing the variety SERIF ON ‘G’. Very fine to superb mint, being lightly hinged on the upper pair only and the vignettes unusually strong with remarkably little of the usual rubbing. An extremely rare multiple (we are aware of two other blocks of four) and undoubtedly unique containing this rare variety. Brandon certificate (2007). SG 81, 81c
