The reverse with VICTORIA CAMEROONS (11 AP 16 with month error April for May) single circle skeleton / relief type datestamp, also struck in violet. Also with Lagos (16 May) and Warrington (6 June) transit / arrival backstamps. Believed to be the earliest recorded examples of both the former German datestamp of Buea and the Victoria skeleton datestamps. A very scarce cover. |
