1966 Mardon definitive 10/-, trial printing on JH3 paper. Block of four lower left stamp showing 'large brownish blot' flaw (constant row 4/4), in addition upper right stamp showing 'ring' (litho) flaw right of bird. Superb unmounted, uncommon. SG unlisted (see footnote)
Note: the 'blot' flaw illustrates that in fact the trial JH3 paper printing was the first printing, as this flaw was retouched out for the JH4 printings |
