Postal History 1868 (August), entire with part printed contents concerning the insolvent estate of one Henry Tucker and a dishonoured ‘draft or bill of exchange’. Bearing a single 4d ultramarine (with outer frame lines, SG 24b) tied by ‘3’ BONC with originating GRAHAMS-TOWN (18 Aug) single circle datestamp on the reverse and Cape Town (22 Aug) arrival struck on the front. The entire with some splitting though remarkably clean and a rare shade of the 4d, especially on cover.
