1936 (7th July), cover bearing 2d small Falls (SG 17), the stamp scored around and endorsed 'obsolete' cancelled alongside 'BULAWAYO'. Addressed to England and struck with relevant cachets including black circular 'TO PAY' endorsed '40c'. GB 4d due applied cancelled 'LONDON 27 JY 36'. Unusual and attractive.
Note: the small Falls issue had been demonetised on the 31st October, 1932 |
