1960 2nd October, printed page from a Deed of Transfer, now folded, applied with 5/-, 10/- x three and £10 Arms revenues (Mewett 311, 312, 316), violet oval 'REGISTRAR OF DEEDS' strikes. Attractive.
Note: the duty on a deed of transfer was £3 for the first £1000 then 5/- for every additional £100 or part thereof of the property value. In this case the property transaction was £4100 making the duty payable £10 15/-. In addition a registration fee of £1 was paid, making a total of £11 15/- |
