Note: the duty on a deed of transfer was £3 for the first £1000 of the value of the property transferred, and 5/- for every additional £100 or part thereof. In this case the property transaction was for £4600, making a total duty of £12. In addition a registration fee of £1 was paid, making the total £13 |
