1929 5th February, printed Deed of Transfer applied with KGV £1 strip of four revenues plus 5/- regular issue (Mewett 217, SG 14), violet oval 'REGISTRAR OF DEEDS' cancels. Attractive.
Note: the duty on a Deed of Transfer for a fixed property was £3 for the first £1000 and 5/- for every additional £100 or part thereof. In this case the Deed was for £1100 thus the duty was £3 5/-. In addition there was a registration fee of £1, making the total £4 5/- |
