1943 14th May, printed Deed of Transfer applied with KGVI 10/- and £1 revenues plus pair 1/- and 5/- regular issues (Mewett 276, 277, SG 48, 52), cancelled black oval 'REGISTRAR OF DEEDS' cachets. Attractive.
Note: stamp duty on a Deed of Transfer was 15/- for a property between £150 and £200. In this case the property was valued at £200, making the stamp duty 15/-. In addition a registration fee of £1 was paid, and a further duty of 2/- was required for every sub-divisional transfer, thus giving a grand total of £1 17/- |
