1943 3rd June, BSA Golden Jubilee 1d (seven examples, SG 54) used on a share transfer document (folded for display). Most attractive.
Note: the stamp duty payable was 1d for every £10 or part thereof of the nominal value of the shares being transferred. This transfer was for 2700 shares of 6d nominal value each, making the total nominal value £67 10/- and therefore the stamp duty 7d. |
