| 1941 (August), postcard used internally bearing a single example of the BSAC Jubilee ½d slate-violet and green (SG 53) tied by an UMVUMA (9 Aug) double circle datestamp. The card has been addressed from one bank to another, the reverse with printed ‘Acknowledgement’ form from the Standard Bank at Umvuma addressed to Barclays bank at Que Que. Unusual, and a fine example of the ½d internal postcard rate. |
