| 1962 (1st March), printed ‘O.H.M.S.’ airmail envelope addressed to Sweden. Bearing QEII definitives 6d and 1/- (SG 24, 25) tied by a CAUSEWAY (1 Mar) double circle datestamp. With light crowned oval ‘Director of Census & Statistics / Official Free / Rhodesia and Nyasaland’ struck in violet at left. Presumably the free mail privilege did not extend to mail sent overseas. Small opening tear at upper right, clear of the adhesives. |
