| Postal History / Postage Dues 1950 (21st April), cover from South Africa addressed to Kitwe, franked with a Cape Town (21 Apr) 1½d meter cancellation in red. The cover was taxed and bears a circular ‘T/1D’ taxe marking struck in black and a postage due 1d grey-black (SG D1) was affixed and tied by a KITWE (24 Apr) double circle datestamp. A fine example of an incoming taxed cover. |
