| Postal History / Postage Dues 1950 (25th April), cover from South Africa addressed to Kitwe, franked with a Johannesburg (25 Apr) 1½d meter cancellation in red. The cover was taxed and bears a circular ‘T/1D’ taxe marking struck in black and a marginal postage due 1d grey-black (SG D1) was affixed and tied by a KITWE (28 Apr) double circle datestamp with an additional strike on the reverse. A fine example of an incoming taxed cover.
