1919 (22nd February), envelope sent registered to Switzerland. Bearing King’s Head ½d green, 2½d bright blue and 6d black and violet (SG 3, 7, 11) all tied by Registered Pretoria (22 Feb) oval datestamps with additional strikes on the reverse. With Pretoria registration cachet struck in black and a circular PASSED / 20 / CENSOR circular cachet struck in greenish blue. Bern (1 Apr) arrival backstamp. Most King’s Head duties above 2d are remarkably difficult to find on cover.
