| 1925 14th May, envelope (now opened out for display), bearing KGV ½d and 1d (SG 1, 2), cancelled 'BULAWAYO' and addressed to Johannesburg. Several attempts at delivery receiving 'YEOVILLE S.O.' strikes for the 20th and 23rd May plus boxed 'PARTY / GONE AWAY / VERTROKKEN' cachet on front, then Johannesburg 'RETURNED LETTER OFFICE' on reverse. Endorsed in red ink at top 'Taken out repeatedly unable / to effect Delivery no attendant'. Somewhat battered although still appealing. |
