| 1954 9th September, envelope sent unpaid from Johannesburg to Kitwe by Airmail. Struck on front with black circular 'T' cachet and this endorsed '6D'. The reverse then applied with Southern Rhodesia overprinted ½d due block of six and Northern Rhodesia 3d due (SG D1, D3) crisply cancelled 'KITWE 22 SP'. A most attractive and unusual early mixed interprovincial useage. |
