| PLATE PROOF Unappropriated Dies imperforate plate proofs of the 2d, 3d and 6d duties printed in a pale reddish lilac on gummed, ‘Orb’ watermarked paper (the 6d is on slightly bluish paper). Each handstamped ‘SPECIMEN’ (Samuel type GB9). The 6d with large hinge thin, otherwise fine with hinge remnants. These are in similar colours and with the watermark utilised for Bechuanaland. |
