| 1942 (February), irregular apparent use of Bechuanaland stamps in Scotland. KGVI ½d green and 2d chocolate-brown (SG 118, 121) tied by Glasgow (21 Feb) double circle datestamps. Although it is possible the cover was carried to Scotland uncancelled due to wartime conditions, it is more likely it was philatelically produced in Glasgow. Unusual. |
