| REVENUE 1905 (February), receipt for £57.10s issued at Luckhoff, bearing a single KEVII 1d (SG 140) cancelled ‘£57.10/-‘ in manuscript. Despite the 1d being inscribed ‘Postage’ only, it was accepted for revenue usage as there were no specific 1d revenue stamps, the ORC Government had inadvertently cancelled the order for 1d’s inscribed ‘Postage & Revenue’. The document with some small thins and creasing, otherwise fine. |
