REVENUE / Ink Recipes c1905, De La Rue Ink Recipes for the 6/- and £2.10s duties of the KEVII revenue issue printed in 1905. Comprising part of a page from the De La Rue ink recipe ledger bearing four pairs of colour sample stamps featuring the head of Queen Victoria and inscribed ‘De La Rue & Co / London’. Two pairs of each are affixed alongside details of the respective duty, the specific colour descriptions for ‘Head’ and ‘Duty’, and whether the ink is to be ‘D F’ (Double Fugitive). Unique.
 
Note: fugitive or Doubly fugitive inks were used to try and prevent the fraudulent removal of cancellations in attempts to re-use the stamps.
