| 1910 4th February, envelope bearing 1d Arms overprint (SG 101), poorly cancelled with clearer 'BULAWAYO' alongside. Addressed to 'Messers Shepherd & Watson, The Durban Reef, P. O. Inyati' although apparently not delivered with red ink endorsements to that effect. Struck with crisp 'INYATI' datestamp (30 APR) and then returned to Bulawayo receiving a 'RETURNED LETTER BRANCH' backstamp for the 4th May. Two pinholes at upper left, fine and attractive. |
