1891 Cape 2d bistre with overprint (stereo) reading upwards. A LOWER RIGHT PANE OF 60 with margins on all four sides (less one piece of interpanneau margin at lower left) and showing plate number ‘2’ at base. With various constant flaws including ‘stop and broken tail at base of ‘s’ of ‘British’’ on positions R3/2, R3/4, R3/6, R7/4 and R7/6. Also showing the ‘nail head’ (at base of R7/5-6). Horizontal crease affects six stamps and some light toning mainly confined to the margins, otherwise most stamps are very fine unmounted mint. A very scarce multiple. SG 32
