MISSIONARY MAIL 1910 (17th November), BSAC 1d red postal stationery card (H&G 11) addressed to Neuchâtel, Switzerland. The message (in French) is headed “Sefula” and dated “16th Nov.” The impressed stamp is cancelled with a large part strike of the LEALUI / N.W. RHODESIA (17 Nov) double circle datestamp and there is a fine LIVINGSTONE / N.W. RHODESIA (2 Dec) transit datestamp below. Scarce mail from this Mission Station in Barotseland which was founded by by Francois Coillard on behalf of the Paris Missionary Society in 1886. The message is signed "F(rancois) Escande".
