| 1888 SURCHARGE FORGERY ‘One / Half- / Penny’ surcharge on the 3d reddish lilac and black. Fine ‘used’ with a suspect Vryburg datestamp. Unusually for a forgery, this appears to be on the correct shade of the basic stamp though the shape and size of the letters is wrong. (SG 29 Forgery)
