1898 (December), British Bechuanaland QV 4d registered postal stationery envelope (H&G 7 / BBS RE15a, dated ‘28.2.89’). Addressed to the Cape, bearing a single QV ‘Jubilee’ 4d green and purple-brown (SG 64) tied by a PALAPYE (DE 23 / 98) single circle datestamp with a second strike alongside. Registered Kimberley (26 Dec) oval, N.E. T.P.O. DOWN (27 Dec) and East London (28 Dec) transit / arrival backstamps. Very fine.
