| 1939 27th October, KGVI 4d registered stationery envelope (with original letter enclosed), bearing KGVI 3d and 1/- definitives (SG 34, 40), cancelled ‘LUSAKA’ sent airmail to Italy. Opened at left then resealed with printed ‘Examined by / Censor No……’ label endorsed ‘13’, and struck with violet triangular ‘PASSED BY CENSOR / 8’ cachet. Re-addressed upon arrival with numerous transit and arrival strikes on reverse. Attractive. |
