| Postal History 1918 (30th August), official printed envelope with ‘ON HIS MAJESTY’S SERVICE.’ at top and ‘POST OFFICE / GOLD COAST.’ at lower left. Sent registered to London, bearing a single London overprint 3d purple on yellow (SG H51) tied by a LOME TOGO (30 Aug) segmented double circle datestamp. With blue on white Lome, Togo registration label affixed at lower left and London (25 Oct) arrival backstamp struck in red. Envelope slightly foreshortened at right, otherwise fine and scarce.
