| REVENUE 1904 unused printed black on pink Hut Tax receipt headed ‘BRITISH CENTRAL AFRICA / Blantyre’ with ‘MLANJE’ partly printed across ‘Blantyre’. Bearing an oval ‘BRITISH CENTRAL AFRICA PROTECTORATE’ 3/- revenue stamp embossed in vermilion and bearing a facsimile signature of the receiving official in black. Two thins from previous mounting, otherwise in very fine condition. Very few BCA receipts have been recorded. Ex the collection of Joe Ross. |
