| 1905 (December), incoming colour picture postcard from The Netherlands (The Royal Couple), bearing a pair of 2½c adhesives tied by Haarlem (9 Dec) double circle datestamps. Addressed to the Consul of the Netherland, though without a street address or box number which resulted in a very fine circular ‘D/1’ Box Inspector's mark being struck in black and a manuscript ‘1005’ added, presumably being the missing box number. Scarce. |
