| 1938 KGVI 1d scarlet, two matching upper left corner blocks of eight, the first showing 'tower' flaw on the lower right corner stamp, and the second WITHOUT. The flaw would appear to be on a later printing on thinner more transparent paper, the without an earlier printing with thicker paper and creamy slightly toned gum. The block with flaw also shows printer's mark at lower left of lower left corner stamp. Hinged on margin and lower right stamp. A most unusual pair. SG 19a, 19 |
