Carried on the ill-fated SABENA flight which crashed soon after take off from Leopoldville to Elisabethville on the 27th August 1949. Cover receiving black straight line ‘Courrier retire de l’avion accident / a Leopoldville le 27 / 8 / 1949’. Edge staining and faults. Attractive and scarce. |
