1938 10/- bluish green and brown-red on pale green ordinary paper. Showing 'coloured spot at base of King's neck' flaw (position 10 or 11). Very fine unmounted, usual browned gum. Rare. SG 142a var.
Note: this shade is easily mistaken. The defining characteristic is an overall scattering of small dark 'dots', and often with some 'pitting' of the paper surface. |
