| KUT / Official Mail. 1957 (10th October), small, re-used envelope sent from Kamagambo to Kisumu, bearing a printed black on white label ‘COLONY AND PROTECTORATE OF KENYA / ON HER MAJESTY’S SERVICE’ affixed to the reverse. The label is tied by a small ‘POSTAL FRANK / KAMAGAMBO / POLICE STATION / KAMAGAMBO’ rectangular cachet struck in violet, with KISII (10 OC) single circle datestamp alongside. The front of the envelope is blank apart from mark where previous label was removed. |
