| KUT / Postage Dues. 1963 (23rd December), portion of the front of an underpaid envelope showing MOMBASA (23 Dec) double circle datestamp overlapping a circular ‘T’ taxe marking struck in black. Also showing a ‘SURCHARGED AMOUNT DUE . . .’ straight-line cachet struck in violet with ‘30cts’ inserted in blue manuscript. A single KUT 30c bistre- brown postage due stamp (SG D10a) was affixed at lower left and tied by a neat Mombasa (31 Jan 64) single circle datestamp. Small perimeter fault at left. |
