| Postal History 1903 (August), black and white postcard of Vaal River Bridge, Vereeniging, bearing on picture side KEVII 1d carmine (SG 71), cancelled on reverse 'JOHANNESBURG 17 AUG 03' datestamp, addressed to France. The adhesive struck with a single Crown handstamp, although at which point remains unclear. The reverse further struck with a 'T / 10 / CENTIMES' strike. Most unusual and highly attractive. |
