A lower marginal BLOCK OF 23 from the lower left pane, positions [37-54 / 55-59] with interpanneau gutter margin at right. All showing the variety OVERPRINT INVERTED. Positions [38] and [55] are Type 15 (Roman) while all the others are Type 16 (italic). Also showing Plate number ‘2’ in lower margin. Hinged on two and creased through the second row (not mentioned on a clear RPS certificate (1977). Otherwise remarkably fine and fresh unmounted mint. A very rare multiple. SG 16a, 17a
