BRITISH BECHUANALAND 1893 (4th December), Cape 1½d postal stationery card overprinted for British Bechuanaland (B&BS PC7b / H&G 6). Addressed to Johannesburg, without a message, the imprinted stamp is cancelled with a ‘638’ BONC of Mafeking. Backstamped with Vryburg (DE 4) and Johannesburg (DE 7) transit / arrival datestamps.
 
Note: the addressee, M.Z. Booleman, emigrated to South Africa from Holland in October 1892, and was one of the first stamp dealers to set up a business in Johannesburg.
