With interesting style of address ‘Mr. E. Arkle / Maf-e-king / British Bechuana land / South Africa’. Backstamped with a Mafeking (AU 11) arrival datestamp. Some contemporary notations at left. A fine example of a double weight 2½d per half ounce letter. |
