BECHUANALAND PROTECTORATE 1910 (29th November), printed envelope sent registered to the stamp dealers “Bright & Son” in London. Bearing a right marginal example of the KEVII Postal Fiscal 6d black and brown-orange (SG F1) tied by a MOCHUDI (29 NO) single circle datestamp with a second strike at left. Backstamped with a RLO Cape Town (3 DE) transit and a London (24 DE) arrival datestamp. The reverse also with large oval ‘W & H HARBOR / MOCHUDI STATION’ cachet struck in violet. Small corner fault at upper right, clear of the adhesive. A very scarce issue on cover.
Note: 6d paid the correct 4d registration and double the 1d per half ounce letter rate to England.
