| POSTAL HISTORY 1902 (3rd October), envelope addressed locally, bearing a combination of issues, comprising V.R.I. subsequent printing (raised stops) 5s; ‘Thick ‘V’ 6d and 1s.; ‘E.R.I.’ 6d (block of four) and ‘One Shilling’ on 5s (pair). All cancelled with neat WINBURG / O.R.C. (OC 3) single circle datestamps. Philatelically inspired, though a scarce high face value (10s.6d.) group on cover. (SG 122, 130-1, 137-8). |
