| 1896 (11th June), 1d ‘Vurtheim’ postal stationery card locally addressed and cancelled with MIDDELBURG / Z.A.R. (11 JUN) double circle datestamp. The reverse with printed form in carmine for ZASM (railways) with printing details ‘10,000 Jan 1893.’ and ‘Model No 72.’ all crossed through with blue crayon. With a fine example of the very scarce ELANDSRIVIER (12 JUN) datestamp struck in violet-black on arrival on the front. (Quik & Jonkers type P2). |
