| Postal History 1895 (26th November), envelope addressed to the Isle of Man, bearing a single 6d purple (SG 52a) tied by a neat UMTATA (NO 26) single circle datestamp with a second strike alongside. Cape Town (DE 2), Liverpool (DE 22) and Castletown (DE 22) transit / arrival backstamps. Small stain at top well clear of the adhesive, otherwise fine and an unusual destination. |
