| 1884 Enschede imperforate colour trial of the ‘Vurtheim’ 1d duty, printed in greenish slate on ungummed wove paper. A COMPLETE INTACT PANE OF 60 (10x6) with large margins on all sides. Very rare, being one of three complete panes in an unissued colour we are aware of. A set of complete panes in issued colours was offered in the Roelf Boekema sale in 1981, which is believed to have been subsequently split into smaller multiples. Spectacular. |
