Postal History 1875 (September), envelope bearing 1d carmine-red x six plus 4d blue x two (SG 29, 24a), crisply cancelled '2' barred ovals, small 'PORT ELIZABETH SP 10 75' datestamp at left. Addressed to France, and endorsed at top 'Per R.M.S. Nyanza via London', and further '1/-' in red crayon. Struck with red 'PD' and the London transit, arrival backstamp. Some damage at upper right, still most attractive.
