Note: In June 1900 the Transvaal was divided into Military Districts. The Marico district came under command of Major-General R. Baden-Powell and his force consisted of 1100 Rhodesian Volunteers and nearly 100 officers and men of the B S A Police. It is quite likely that members of this force had with them stamps from the BSA Company which were used at that time |
