POSTAL HISTORY
AA5294
1937 (April), incoming cover sent from GB and underpaid at 1½d with a KEVIII brown. Addressed to Serowe and then struck with 'T 20' cachet, duly applied with Bechuanaland 2d due (SG D6, scuffed at top), cancelled 'SEROWE 5 MAY 1937'. The cover then re-addressed back to Scotland with the addition of KGV 2d brown (SG 101), cancelled for the 10th May. This in turn underpaid and then struck with a further '2d.' cachet and a GB 2d due applied, cancelled '1 JU 37'. Most unusual and attractive, the Bechuanaland due very scarce used as such.
