| 1936 24th February, envelope bearing 1d and 2d x two cancelled CAPE TOWN and apparently sent registered to East London. However, endorsed in ink 'POOC' (Posted out of Course) and struck with rectangular cachet to that effect, further circular 'T 4D' strike. Duly applied with pair 2d dues (SG D23), cancelled on the 27th. Unusual and attractive. |
